What does EDDM mean? EDDM stands for Every Door Direct Mail. With EDDM, you can target a specific market in a predesignated ZIP code. It’s an excellent way to boost your business exponentially without having to worry about a mailing list because you’d mail to all addresses within the zip codes you choose.

  3. *Color Options

    ?

Which color option should I choose?

Most postcards are printed full-color on both sides, particularly those that include color images. If your postcards don't contain color images or only have them on one side, you might consider a different option instead.

Full-color printing provides the maximum impact and visual appeal for most postcards.

  4. *Paper Choices

    ?

100 lb. uncoated is an economical option, suitable for text. However, it does not reproduce graphics or photographs well.

100 lb. matte is a heavyweight paper with a dull, smooth finish that handles print graphics well.

130 lb. gloss is an elegant, heavyweight paper with a smooth, glossy finish that's perfect for high-impact graphics and photographic reproduction.

  5. *Aqueous Coating / UV Coating

    ?

    What is Aqueous Coating?
Aqueous coating is a clear, protective finish that improves the durability of your printed pieces. Water-based and environmentally friendly, it provides a glossy surface that resists fingerprints and smudges.

Aqueous coating adds a rich quality to any full-color printed item. It's fast-drying and is applied while the paper passes through the printing press.

    What is UV Coating?

A protective coating usually applied in-line on press using a coating unit that dries virtually instantaneous when exposed to the correct level of ultraviolet light. Usually more expensive than aqueous coatings, but have higher gloss/satin/matte properties and allow for immediate use in bindery since there is no drying time needed.

UV coating can be applied to your entire product, both front and back, or just on one side. You can also opt for spot UV coating, in which an ultraviolet coat is applied only to certain spots on your design (a great way to make logos or photos stand out).
